Leaders & Staff

CSC values our talented employees.
About our Staff

Job Training
Our entire staff and leaders are vetted and must maintain professional certifications and standards. This includes, but is not limited to: *Background checks via NCSI (some must complete DOJ fingerprinting also). *SafeSport or Abuse Prevention Systems anti-bullying and anti-abuse certification. *Anti-workplace harassment training *First Aid, CPR, and AED certification *Concussion awareness/training. We also have an extensive internal onboarding process we call NHT (New Hire Training), formal job reviews, and a CSC All-Staff Meeting to kick off each year. Hiring and job training happen through a collaboration between our Rocket Youth HR local HR office, and site program leaders. We enhance our training and development using our CSC University "system", where leaders and experts share and implement best teaching practices. Ongoing internal education is provided to staff regularly and consistently. We also bring in outside specialists and/or send staff and leaders to professional development events.
